Hope you’re cozying up and watching a film or having a lovely walk in the evening sunshine. Sorry I missed last week’s post. It was a bit of a hectic one I’m not going to lie. Last weekend was London Fashion Week SS20 of course, and this season I was lucky enough to have my lovely cousin, Neave, down to experience it with me. We squeezed in as much as possible. As usual, it was incredibly inspiring and exciting. I think Neave enjoyed it as well. Below is a bit of a recap of what we got up to.Read More
Hope you’re having a lovely week so far. Have you been up to anything exciting? I’ve spent the weekend with my lovely friend, Jade. We did a little bit of shopping, some hot tubbing, and a lot of eating. What more could a gal want, right? I also, much to my dismay, finished my new favorite show, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, this weekend. If you haven’t seen it yet, get on it this week. It’s a must see in my book, between the gorgeous 50s outfits and the amazing soundtrack, not to mention it’s hilarious! Do you have any good binge-worthy recommendations? If so, leave them below. Anyway, on to this week’s blog post, because that’s what you’re all really here for, not to here my ramble on about what I’ve been binge watching last week.
This week’s blog post is surprisingly all about a fabric; I promise it’s not as boring as it sounds lol. Surely, you’ve noticed the rise of sheer fabrics these past few months. Organza has made an incredible resurgence from the 80s, thanks to brands like Zara and Topshop. The sheer fabric allows for even more creativity when it comes to your outfit, and I’ve been testing the new trend out for myself. Below are the reasons I think it’s such a fun fabric to spice up your autumn wardrobe.Read More
As you probably know, I spent last weekend in Portugal! This time last week I was stretched out on a beach eating a Portuguese tart and listening to the sound of the sea. Unfortunately, I’m back to reality this weekend, sitting by London Fields Lido under a dark cloud and eating an apple. It’s still the weekend though right!
Here is my mini guide to Portugal and how we got the most of a weekend there. I went with my friend and roommate, Megan. With only three days, we def had to do some serious planning and running from place to place, but I feel like I really experienced a lot that Portugal had to offer. Below are the things I recommend you definitely shouldn’t miss if you ever get a chance to visit this beautiful place.Read More

Hope you’ve had another lovely summer weekend. What have you been up to? I’ve had a fairly chilled weekend. Yesterday my friend, Megan, and I went for brunch at a really cute place, called Hoi Polloi, near our apartment. We shared spicy Spanish eggs and chocolate banana pancakes. Then we went to see The Lion King which brought back all kinds of childhood mems. Today, I spent the day walking around the British museum and eating fish & chips in the park. Anyway, on to why you’re all here, this week’s blog post.
For this week’s blog post, I wanted to talk about taking something as simple as a black t-shirt dress and making it into an interesting outfit all using accessories. Accessories often get over looked, but they really can take an outfit from boring to glam in seconds.Read More
Have you had a good weekend? We had a wonderful sunny weekend here in London town. I spent yesterday in Regent Park with my friend, Megan. We had a picnic, walking through the rose garden, and went on the peddle boats. Today I went to Camden Market, with my roomie, Holly. We had the best grilled cheese ever, watched the loch opening and closing for the long boats, and explored all of Camden’s little hidden shops.
I’ve been wanting to write this blog post for weeks now, but couldn’t quite bring myself to put it all into words. My dog, Derby, passed away on the 20th of June at the age of 15. You might not know, but I got her for my 9th birthday and we’ve been inseparable ever since. It will take me a long time to get used to the idea that I won’t ever see her again. As one of the most important beings to ever enter my life, I wanted to dedicate a blog post to her and all she taught me.Read More
