Little London Life Update

Hello friends,

I hope you've all had a great week! I'm so sorry I missed last week's post, but unfortunately my apartment was broken into and my laptop was taken! I was of course devastated, but I've decided that dwelling on it won't solve any problems, plus I want to continue enjoying my time here in London, which is exactly what this post is dedicated to! I've been getting up to some very exciting things and I want to share them with you and document them for myself as well!

A Foodie's Dream

In true Georgie form, I created a list of must-eat places in London before I even left Tennessee. We've already eaten traditional fish and chips, a full English at Balthazar, amazing margarita pizza at Antica Pizzeria da Michele, Turkish food at Haz, sushi, ramen, and so much more. I'm definitely getting my foodie fix here in London. I'm thinking about making a London food guide for my fellow foodies out there. Would you be interested? Comment down below if you would be!!

Museum Maniac

London is turning out to be the perfect place for an art nerd, like me. We've already visited Tate Modern and the National Portrait Gallery, but but I'm dying to visit more, including the National Gallery, fashion exhibits like the Princess Diana fashion exhibit, recommended by my Auntie Mandy, and the Audrey Hepburn fashion exhibit, found by my mom! I'd also like to visit the Natural History Museum, because they're displaying a dinosaur exhibit this year and you guys all know how much I love the dinos!

Typical Tourists

I've also been playing the typical tourist here in London since some of the other interns here have never done the touristy things. It's really nice to experience them all over again though. We've done the London Eye, Thames River cruise, walked across tower bridge, visited St. Paul's Cathedral, seen the musical 42nd Street, had traditional afternoon tea, and even visited Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross Station!

As always thank you so much for stopping by my little corner of the internet to read my little London life update! I hope you enjoyed it. Special shout out to Lucy, this gorgeous London photographer who made me feel totally at home in front of her camera even though I'd never met her before! (The talent of making people feel comfortable in front of a camera in busy London is a tough one to master!) Check out her amazing Instagram here. Also remember to check back again next week for another blog post! Hopefully now that I have my laptop I will be able to keep on track with the weekly posts! Have a great week babes!
