Good morning lovely readers,

How has your week been?As for me, it's been a little tough getting back into the swing after spring break, but I'm doing better now that it's the weekend.  For this week's post, I thought I'd write about how to elevate your weekend look from boring and dull to fabulous!  In usual Georgie form, I have compiled my personal tips to create the perfect weekend ensemble.  Keep reading to find out how I look put together on the weekends.

Add a blazer

Update your graphic tee and mom jeans by topping off your outfit with a sleek blazer.  Nothing says sophistication and class quite like a blazer can.  I like to throw on a blazer if I'm going for brunch or for a girl's day of shopping.  This blazer in particular is lightweight and oversized so it's comfy.

Add a pop of color

Another way to change your dull weekend attire is to add a little color.  A fun color like red or yellow will always elevate an outfit and make it look as though you put in more effort.

Throw on some interesting shoes

An interesting pair of shoes can instantly transform an outfit.  Try trading your tennis shoes for a fun pair of mules, like these from Style Encore, or some velvet boots, like these Steve Maddens.  (Also remember, any type of pointed shoe will make an outfit look more sophisticated.)

Add some fun lipstick

A little lipstick or some bright blush always makes you look more put together.  Try a pop of red or a pink for spring this weekend.

Trade your jeans for a skirt

If you're a comfort kind of gal and you couldn't possibly see yourself not in a sweatshirt this weekend, I have a solution.  That comfy weekend sweatshirt can become stylish if you just switch your jeans or sweatpants for a skirt instead, like I did below.

Accessorize

Adding a little bling makes any outfit more exciting, but especially simple weekend attire.  Spice it up with a little gold necklace or some statement earrings.

As always, thank you so much for joining me this week for another post.  I hope you enjoy this type of post.  Scroll down to purchase any of the pieces I'm wearing in the these posts.  Comment down below with your weekend plans and what you plan on wearing! I love all of you!
