Athleisure in an Alley

For this week's post, I chose another outfit from my spring break back home.  We got to take some great photos in beautiful downtown Knoxville, that week.  Since we were walking the streets and shopping, I decided to go with a cute dress and casual shoe combo.  It's one of my favorite combinations right now if you can't tell!

We all know that this athleisure style of combining the feminine and sporty has become extremely popular among style guru's like Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, but it's not just trendy, it's wearable.  I personally have come to depend on this trend for university classes and casual weekend outings.

For our location, we went to an alley in downtown Knoxville, known for it's awesome graffiti. We thought it would be a perfect backdrop for this casual look (plus there was some amazing artwork to look at).  It has a magical hidden city vibe.

This dress and converse combo felt like the perfect outfit to walk around the town in.    I love the sporty stripes on the sleeves and the collar.  It's an athletic, casual twist on the little black dress.

I thought this look would be the perfect chance to debut my new bucket bag.  I normally go for more structured bags, but I felt I needed a bit of a change from my everyday Calvin.  I really like the size and off white color of this bag.  It has three small pocket inside, so even though it's a less structured bag, it can still be somewhat organized.  I got this bag on sale at Forever21 for less than $15.00, and am really happy with the purchase.  While this bag is no longer available, Forever21 does have a few other great bucket bags.

Thank you all for reading this week's post and I hope you enjoyed the it.  I'll be back next week! Follow me on Instagram for exclusive photos! You guys are the best for being so supportive. Thank you,

Georgie xo
