This week was a much needed spring break! So, in spring break spirit I chose this outfit. So this week, I travelled home to Tennessee to visit family and friends last Saturday and spent a week there.  I had such a great time hanging out with my family and Caylie and her husband Tim came along for a bit too.  I think they enjoyed being dragged around by me for a few days haha. We got some great chances to take photos, so I hope you guys enjoy this post!

For my spring look, I decided to go with a pale blue crop top with white collar and cuffs.  I like the feminine color with the more sporty style of this top.  This color has recently and very quickly become my favorite color for this season.  I'm not a huge fan of pink on me, so I tend to go for other pastels for spring.  If you're in the same boat as me, pale blue is a great alternative for adding a spring color to your wardrobe.

For the bottoms, I chose pinstripe pants.  Usually, pinstripe pants would be a more formal piece, but I wanted to challenge myself by using them in a more casual look.  (P.S. these pants are also on sale right now!) I've also been trying to find more alternatives to my everyday black skinnies.  These trousers are perfect because they can be both formal and casual.

The weather was absolutely perfect so we took the puppies for a walk.  This outfit perfectly transitioned to dog walking appropriate with a quick change of shoes, from pointy flats to tennis shoes.  (As I mention in my last post, Derby, the pup on the left, I got for my ninth birthday, so she's my pride and joy.)

We stumbled upon this amazing group of cherry blossom trees, and of course we had to snap some shots.  It was the perfect springy backdrop for this look.

I topped off my look with a pair of ultra reflective sunnies that have a pale pink rim.  This is another way of adding spring color into your look without over complicating it.
