I hope you're all having a lovely day with your moms! Be sure to treat your special lady well today! Speaking of moms, this week's blog post photos were taken by my gorgeous mom! There's not much that symbolizes Mother's day more than flowers, so I'm talking all about the floral dress and why you need to have one ready to go for this summer!

It's Easy

One of the best things about dresses is that not much thought has to go into your outfit at all! You simply throw it on with a pair of shoes and you're pretty much sorted! The summer is all about ease and relaxation so if you can take a little less time choosing what to wear and a little more time out in the sunshine then why wouldn't you?!

Keeps You cool

Another beautiful thing about a dress is the much needed breeze! Dresses keep your legs unrestricted and free. Just be careful you don't get too much of a breeze resulting in a Marilyn Monroe situation!

Floral print is quite popular every summer, but seems to be exploding all over the shops even more than usual this year! If you can grab your perfect summer dress in a floral print, you'll not only be comfortable, but you'll be on trend too!

It's Versatile

Another great plus a floral dress provides is that it's versatile! It can be dressed down like I did here with some tennis shoes and a denim jacket, or you can dress it up with some heels and a blazer! The more versatile the piece, the more likely you are to wear it over and over again! You'll definitely get your money's worth out of a floral dress!
