Good morning friends,

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend.  I don't know about you, but since school has started back up, my weekends have already become infinitely busier.

Anyway, for this week's blog post, I want to share this amazingly embroidered dress from Dezzal, these gorgeous retro sunnies from Rowley Eyewear, and tips on how to pull yourself out of a bad mood with your wardrobe.

We all have our bad days.  I am guilty of letting certain things get me down, but I have learned of some definitive ways to lift myself out of a funk.  If I don't have to leave my apartment at all, I will curl up with a furry blanket and a Harry Potter movie, but usually I still have to go about my day despite being in a mood.  So, a close second, is finding a beautiful outfit to boost me out of my blues.  Whether it's not wanting to get out of bed for work or school, having a bad hair day, or just feeling grumpy for no reason at all, I have found that putting on a killer outfit can turn it all around.

CHOOSE SOMETHING THAT FITS

Tip number one is choosing an outfit that fits you and you feel comfortable in.  You will ultimately feel a lot happier if you are wearing something comfortable. I find that wearing something uncomfortable can make me infinitely more irritated than I felt at the beginning of the day.   Taming and constantly adjusting an uncomfortable outfit will get very old fast, so wear something easy.

WEAR SOMETHING  THAT EXCITES YOU

If there's one thing that will get me out of bed in the morning, it's thinking about the amazing outfit I can't wait to show off.  Try to choose an outfit that you absolutely love to wear and that just makes you happy.  Choose an outfit that is bright and beautiful and you're bound to feel much better.

Finish off your look with a smile

When I was upset, my mom always told me I should smile, and as I grew older I realised why this seemingly silly thing works.  Even when you're sad or moody, simply smiling can, for some reason, make you feel just a little bit better.  Maybe it helps you forget why you're down or maybe the oxymoron of it just makes you giggle.  So next time you're feeling down just give us a little grin.

For this uplifting look, I decided to wear this gorgeous summery dress from Dezzal.  (Dezzal is an awesome website featuring hundreds of gorgeous pieces like this one.  You definitely need to check them out if you have a special event coming up.)  This dress makes me so happy.  Not only does it fit me really well, it is also a lovely cut and gorgeous design.  I love the nude color of the dress compared to the bright embroidery.  You guys also may know about my love for bees and this dress has adorable embroidered bees.  The sheer  sleeves are also very appealing to me.

I then paired the dress with these gorgeous retro sunnies from Rowley Eyewear.  I've been wearing these to jazz up a simple outfit, but I love them  with this dress too.  Check out their website for other amazingly cool sunnies and glasses.

Thank you guys so much for reading another post, and let me know in the comments if you are enjoying this type of post.  I am always open to suggestions and love to hear your feedback!
