Winter's Key Trends
Merry Christmas everyone!
I hope you are all having a lovely Christmas holiday! I cannot believe Christmas is already here. December really has flown by this year, which makes me a little sad, since it is one of my favorite months. Although, I am really looking forward to celebrating with my lovely family and eating lots of festive foods.
In the wintery spirit, I thought I would go over some of the key trends for Winter 2016/2017.
The first trend on the list is faux fur. Everything on the highstreet seems to have a touch of fur this season, whether that's a furry keychain or the inside of some shoes. To inject a little fur into my winter wardrobe, I've been wearing this coat with a faux fur collar from Banana Republic. I also have some gloves with fur on the lining which are a good option for a touch of fur.
Pattern or print wise, the most popular one has got to be Cheetah print. While this is usually a print I'm either totally feeling or totally not, I have been adding little touches here and there at the moment.
Velvet anything and everything has also been ruling both the runway and the highstreet. I already own two pairs of velvet boots, two velvet dresses, and a velvet top. Needless to say, I'm currently addicted to this trend.
One of the more popular colors of the season, is emerald green. This has been applying to not only fashion, but also home decor as well. For the most part I've been wearing emerald tops like this turtleneck, but these gloves are a more vibrant way to add some emerald.
Happy holidays and Merry Christmas to those who celebrate it too! I feel so grateful for all the support you've shown me and my blog, especially this time of year. It means the world to see a lovely comment or hear that someone reads the blog every week. I really am so thankful! Have a lovely holiday everyone!
