Transition into Fall
Good morning friends,
How is your Sunday going? I hope it has been full of cool October weather and some free-time to just chill.
Transitioning into fall this year has seemed a little harder than normal. I think it has been because one day it's in the 80s and the next day it will be in the 50s (Fahrenheit, just to clarify)! I've had to be pretty creative in the outfits I come with.
For this particular outfit I chose to do some layering, which is your best friend this time of year. I also wanted to keep to classic fall shades. I chose a lightweight, camel turtleneck and I layered an army green shirt dress, from Shein, over the top. I added a simple belt to cinch in the waist. I finished off the outfit with some chunky, platform shoes from Zara.
Here are some more tips for transitioning your outfits into fall:
- Always check the weather before you leave for the day. This will help immensely when trying to decide what to wear and keeping comfortable all day.
- Easy, lightweight jackets can solve all your problems. They're easy to carry around if you're hot and easy to throw on if you're cold.
- Layering was made for this time of year, and it always makes an outfit more interesting and complex.
- Wear boots with skirts or dresses to add fall element while still keeping cool.
