My Mini Guide to Cornwall

Harlyn Bay

Harlyn Bay

Happy Sunday lovelies,

I’m back! I took a much-needed blog break last weekend while I was traveling back from Cornwall and entertaining Fergus & Felicia last Sunday. Hope you’re all well and having a lovely weekend this weekend. I’ve spent it finishing off unpacking and organizing my room from my recent move, cooking some delish food with the bf, and hanging out with friends. Comment down below what you got up this weekend.
For this week’s blog post, I wanted to give you a bit of a rundown of what we did while we were in Cornwall the other week. We had such an amazing time and I got to see some lovely places with much missed family members. Below are the places we visited while in Cornwall and where I recommend you do too if you ever visit.

Beach Hopping

The first three days in Cornwall we were lucky enough to have sunny, warm weather, so we made the most of it! We visited Harlyn Bay, Constantine Bay, and Porthcothan Bay. All three beaches had their perks, but I definitely recommend Constantine or Porthcothan because they were a bit less crowded and there was more space to spread out. We spent the days catching some rays, exploring rock pools and being dragged into the cold sea by Fergus.

The Eden Project

On the fourth day of our trip, as per Felicia’s request, we decided to mix it up and visit The Eden Project, which is similar to a botanical gardens. With it’s signature bubble-like structures that are jam packed with exotic plants, you are bound to be as amazed as we were. Felicia definitely got her plant fix and we all enjoyed taking in the colourful flowers, massive leaves, and gorgeous birds and insects roaming among the plants. It’s a must visit next time you’re in Cornwall.

Small Seaside Town Shopping

We stayed in the idillic seaside town of Padstow, so on our not-so-sunny days, we decided to explore the nearby shops and cafes. We had plenty of Cornish pasties and picked up some cute postcards and souvenirs along the way too. I definitely recommend staying in or visiting Padstow.

Brunchin

Two mornings in Padstow, we ventured across to Rock for a delish brunch at Blue Tomato, as per my uncle’s recommendation. I definitely recommend trying the pancakes or eggs Benedict if you make it on the ferry and over to Rock.
Thank you so much for reading this week’s blog post. I hope you enjoyed learning about what we got up to in lovely Cornwall. Hopefully, you will have added some of my recommendations to your next Cornwall trip. If you want to see more photos from our trip, check out the stories highlight on Instagram . Check back next week for a new post and have an amazing week guys!
