3 Things I've Learned Being a Personal Stylist

I can’t believe another week has come and gone again! I swear these weeks are flying by. Have you been up to anything exciting this weekend? Comment down below if you have! I’ve been going on autumnal walks, drinking hot chocolate, and hanging out with my lovely fam. I am missing my mom, dad, and pups though! This autumnal weather is really making me want to baking some thing pumpkin flavor and watch Halloween movies!

For this week’s post, since I haven’t had a chance to get any outfit photos, I thought I’d talk to you guys about my job and some of the things I’ve learned while doing it! Many of you might not know, but I’ve been working part-time as an online personal stylist for a Google owned company called, Tailor! I’ve been working for Tailor since last November, so it’s almost been a year now and I’ve really enjoyed it! I’ve also learned a lot about styling other people and really making them feel happy with their own personal style.

My First Fashion Week

I hope you’re all having a lovely weekend, but I HAVE to tell you about this past weekend!! Last weekend was honestly the BEST. WEEKEND. OF. MY. LIFE. If you didn’t already know, last weekend was London Fashion Week and I was lucky enough to be right in the thick of it with the company I’m interning with, HPR London. I can’t even explain to you the excitement I felt, but I’m going to try in this post! After reading, if you have questions about my first real fashion week experience, don’t hesitate to put it down below, because there’s no way I can cover everything just in this little post. (Also I’m sorry I didn’t get a chance to upload last weekend, but I think fashion week is a pretty good excuse!)

Second-Hand Summer Outfit

How has your week been? I've had another London packed week I must admit and I'm feeling to lucky to be here experiencing this. While walking around running errands for my internship, I stumbled upon some really amazing vintage and second-hand shops in the Shoreditch area! It reminded me of this gorgeous, Gianni Bini dress I found for a steal, second-hand at my old work, Style Encore Conway, which is a gently-used women's clothing shop! ( I miss that place and my work pals so so much and finding amazing steals!) In this post I wanted to talk about the benefits of shopping second-hand, vintage, or consignment clothes for both your own wallet and the planet!

Little London Life Update

I hope you've all had a great week! I'm so sorry I missed last week's post, but unfortunately my apartment was broken into and my laptop was taken! I was of course devastated, but I've decided that dwelling on it won't solve any problems, plus I want to continue enjoying my time here in London, which is exactly what this post is dedicated to! I've been getting up to some very exciting things and I want to share them with you and document them for myself as well!

My Interview Tips

I hope you're all doing well! I've just made it to London, but I wrote this ahead of time so fingers crossed the journey went well! Eeeek! Anyway, I'm so glad you've joined me again here on the blog. You're the best, you know! This week, since I recently nailed a very dreamy internship, I wanted to talk about some tips and tricks, you know how I love my tips, on how to nail the job, internship, college program, etc. of your dreams! I've spent over a year and a half finding and getting this internship, and I've interviewed with my share of companies since I was about fifteen, so I think I've learned a suitcaseful!

Cheeky Little Life Update

I hope you've all had a great week. I've been in San Diego, so I must admit, I've had a pretty smashing week! I'd never been to San Diego before, but I was met with warm weather, lush flowers, and endless things to do, but I'll talk about all those exciting things more in my mini guide to San Diego which I'm currently working up! How I Find Confidence in Crazy Outfits

How is your weekend going? Apart from the England loss, which was kind of devastating *tear*, I've had a pretty productive week. I've just arrived in San Diego which I'm feeling super excited about since I've never gotten to visit here before! I've been to most other major cities in Cali, but I've heard some of the best things about San Diego itself! Have you ever been? Comment down below what your San Diego experience was if you have and if you have any recommendations (especially food lol, you know I love my food).

Anyway, today I just wanted to talk to you guys, pretty casually about how I feel confident enough to wear the things I do, like a rainbow striped jumpsuit! A lot of the time I get "only you could pull that off" or "I wish I could rock something like that", and while that's an incredibly kind compliment to me, I don't want you to think you couldn't rock something just as out there or bold as me, because you can!

Why Casual Can Still Be Colorful

When you think casual, comfy clothing, the first thing that pops into your head might be some dull baggy sweatpants (Reeboks with the strap, aye!) or some nike shorts and a black or grey tee, but casual doesn't have to be that boring. Today, I want to discuss why casual and comfy doesn't have to mean black leggings and a black top! All clothing is getting more and more comfy these days, so there's no excuse not to look put together at the same time as being comfortable. Here's how to stay comfy while still keeping colorful!

LWD: The Summer Version on the LBD
