How to Find the Jeans of Your Dreams
The Power of Plaid

It’s finally feeling like fall, friends! Whoop whoop! Are you taking this cooler weather in your stride, perhaps going on walks in the crunching leaves or breaking out your coziest of sweaters? Maybe you’re even sipping a warm latte, wrapped up in a plaid scarf, which leads me on to the topic of this week’s post!

Of all the fall trends that accompany the changing trees and falling leaves, I have to admit that plaid, tartan, or check my might be favorite. With it comes with a very British association from things like Burberry’s iconic pattern, traditional Scottish kilts, Vivienne Westwood’s designs, and London punk rockers. Plus, I just love the fact that tartan originated in Scotland and each different pattern represented a different clan. It’s such a cool and interesting start to a pattern’s history unlike any other’s.

Corduroy's Big Comeback

Sorry this post is a tab late! How are you all doing this week? Have you been up to anything exciting this past weekend? Comment down below if you’ve been on any exciting adventures, seen any good Netflix series, or gotten some much needed things completed.

For this week’s post, I wanted to talk about one of this season’s biggest trends, corduroy! While it comes around every fall/winter season, it seems to be making an even bigger comeback this year and in some new and interesting ways! I’ve seen corduroy in more colors, styles, and shapes than I’ve ever imagined and I’m kind of loving it! I don’t have a love of corduroy pieces yet myself, but the few bits I do have, like this dress from Zara, are keeping me warm and stylish! I’ve come up with a few tips for rocking corduroy your own way!

Many of you might not know, but I’ve been working part-time as an online personal stylist for a Google owned company called, Tailor! Good Things Come to Those Who GO

I hope you've all had a great week and weekend. I've finished my first week of my internship, and I have to admit, it was a great week! So many exciting things happen in such a short period of time, so I am also quite exhausted haha.

(We jump on any excuse for great food and hanging with great friends of course!) Anyway, tomorrow might be Monday, but that also means a fresh start so let's make it a good week!

When you think casual, comfy clothing, the first thing that pops into your head might be some dull baggy sweatpants (Reeboks with the strap, aye!) or some nike shorts and a black or grey tee, but casual doesn't have to be that boring. Today, I want to discuss why casual and comfy doesn't have to mean black leggings and a black top!
